Hi Peter, our dev team has been overwhelmed by demand for our MOGOcheck application and we are running behind on our planned rollout for MOGO+ Android version in June. At this stage, we still don’t have a date for release but it should be later this year. Thanks for your patience!


Why won’t MOGO+ login to my bank?

If you are having trouble logging in to any secure site with MOGO+, here’s what you have to do:

1. Check the site itself and your login credentials, by attempting to login directly.

2. If the same credentials will not log you in via MOGO+, please inform us immediately via the Messages function within the app.

This will allow us to review our server logs to determine exactly how and where the access is failing. (Please note that we absolutely cannot see your credentials or any of your data). We will let you know (via the email address you registered when you downloaded the app) when we think we have resolved the issue.


No confirmation of completion of MOGObankconnect test.

I just competed a functionality test of your software for iPoll. It has not showing as completed. There was no confirmation of completion at the end – just the application exiting. Can someone please confirm that this is legitimate and complete.

Thanks for helping with our testing, Laurie. I can confirm that you successfully accessed Bank SA at 13:18 on the 17th of Jan. That is ALL we can see. The access testing is legitimate and your test is complete – so you are due your reward in respect of the testing. Please note that we do not control the UX of the testing, which is contracted out to service providers, like iPoll, so I’m not sure why you didn’t get a confirmation.


Where are my reward points?

I just participated in a trial at iPoll Survey site for MOGO+ and should have been awarded around $10 for doing it and completing the process but once it was done I was really disappointed that nothing at all was awarded. Can you shed any light on why this is happening as this result with a simple trial failing to provide the reward that it should it does put you off making any futher really privaste information available to MOGO+. I would appreciate some feedback on this,

Thanks for participating in our testing, Sharon. We have outsourced the testing to a number of companies, so I cannot comment on how or when you will be rewarded. However, I can confirm that your access test was successful and your Access ID and Reference are in the “to be rewarded” category. I will follow up on your behalf.


Is MOGObankconnect testing dodgy?

While doing the survey each time I entered my bank details to verify login to bank, it keeps showing bank acc not found. My MOGObankconnect Access ID is : 610002170, REFERENCE: 06940746904c02492ae2168de1f5a81c.
Just doing this survey I get $11 and I love doing surveys. I was a bit worried about doing this survey initially because I had to provide my bank details but this looked authentic. I am only on a Disability Pension, so I don’t get much money, that is why I do surveys. I hope you can help and that this is not dodgy.

Thanks for taking part in our testing Lynne, and I can assure you that it’s absolutely not dodgy! It always requires an element of trust on the part of our testers when it comes to automating the way people access their online bank account data. So thanks for trusting us and for helping to make the world of online banking access more convenient for everyone. It looks like our system went looking for an account with the last 4 digits you entered but couldn’t find it under your login credentials. Are you sure you entered the last 4 digits of your account number correctly?


Problem registering MOGO+ app: Keyboard covers text box and prevents data entry.

With iOS6, when the keyboard appeared, the screen behind it moved up to allow you to type text into the required field. Not any more. With iOS7, the keyboard is bigger and covers the lower half of the screen when it appears, frequently hiding the field you want to type in. Apple have provided scroll up and down buttons above the QWERTY keys to allow you to access different areas of the screen. These are confusing because they look like left or right arrow keys!

We are trying to minimise this nuisance by relocating as much text entry to the top of our screens, where possible. In the end though, we are all just going to have to get used to iOS7.


When will MOGO+ be released?

MOGO+ has just been released without fanfare in the App Store – for Australia only. The app will be made available for download in the UK when sufficient UK banks have been added, hopefully in March/April 2014. Other countries will follow later in the year.

Since the Apple Developer website was restored at the end of July, we have been busy creating a new build of the Mogo+ app almost daily. And what a difference a couple of weeks has made! We are now really in the final phase of testing and counting down to a launch date in October/November. Another huge “thanks” is due to all of our beta testers, who are continuing to provide vital feedback every day.


New testers frustrated

A backlog of new Mogo+ beta testers is being created by Apple’s decision to take down its developer site. Apple did this due to security concerns and one result has been that we have not been able to issue any more beta versions of the app for 2 weeks now. The effect on the app developer community in general must be catastrophic we imagine. We count ourselves lucky that it is just a nuisance for us.

The Mogoplus app is now being allowed out in public!

More and more testers now have the app on their iPhones and iPads and they are loving it. We are keeping all the messages we are receiving through the in-app messaging system for testimonials. Keep the feedback coming, team!
